End FGM European Network

Shaping the narrative and influencing policy to tackle FGM/C in Europe

European Union
2008 - 2017

The End FGM European Network is an umbrella grouping of 30 organisations working to ensure sustainable action to end female genital mutilation/cutting. In 2008, HDF supported the emergence of a dedicated, EU-wide end FGM campaign, managed by Amnesty International. From 2015, the second phase of this initiative supported the transition of the campaign into a fully-fledged, independent network. The European Network elevates the voices of activists and advocates for EU policy commitments to tackle FGM/C.
