ActionAid is an international organisation working with over 15 million people in 45 countries. They were the first major international development organisation to base their head office in Africa. From their HQ in Johannesburg, South Africa, ActionAid help people fight for their rights across Asia, the Americas and Europe. HDF supported an ambitious initiative to improve livelihoods and sexual and reproductive health for young women in poor urban areas across India and South Africa.
