Social Change Initiative is an international not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the effectiveness of activism for social change and to influence the way this work is funded and supported. Their key focus areas are migration, equality and human rights, and peacebuilding. HDF provided grant funding in response to the European migration crisis. The initiative included opinion polling in 5 European countries, convening discussions with key experts and civil society on refugee protection and changing narratives, and improving the ability of NGOs to influence policy.
